Every year, I walk past hundreds of discarded Christmas trees.
I always feel sad about these trees - just a few days or weeks ago they were the most special, beautiful thing in the room.
But when Christmas is over they suddenly have no worth and are thrown away onto the street.
I started photographing them a few years ago and have over a thousand pictures of these trees now. Here are a few of the saddest and funniest.
