Originally from the UK, Katherine Stokes is an artist and photographer based in Berlin. Working under the name Chromatic Explorer, she captures moments of beauty and colour in urban environments, with a particular focus on Berlin and Brandenburg. Her photography is minimal and colourful and focuses on unnoticed and overlooked corners and spaces in cities and towns. She invites the viewer to slow down and find colour, rhythm, and presence in the seemingly mundane.
